How do you allow client to enter Domain Name for Hosting when Domain Purchasing is turned off?

Turned off Domain Signup since GoDaddy is not allowed without expensive plugin, but we are sell hosting. So, in testing the purchasing of our new packages I noticed that there is no place to enter the domain name of the website you are purchasing the hosting for. This them purchases a package with just www. in the name. If I was to run the module to automatically build the cPanel, the install would likely fail since there is no domain name. So, how do I allow the user to enter the domain name they are going to use for their site hosting (regardless if they bought it or I did through GoDaddy) so the Module will know what to use during the auto install of the cPanel on the server?

Just so you all can see what I see, I have attached the cart screen that shows up directly after clicking on a plan at: http://nviousdesigns.com/hosting/cart.php.

Since I turned off the domain name signup/purchasing, it skips this portion when selecting a package and goes right to the Review & Checkout page. Since I will be approving all clients that get added to hosting, I am fine if they don't supply their domain name, but it would be best if they did. I would be happy to know how to get this to work in either of these methods:

1. Allow the client to signup without entering their domain name, but then in the Pending Orders screen, how do I enter the domain name for the client BEFORE running the module that would install the CP on my linked server?

2. Allow the client to enter the domain name before checkout so I can approve and run the module to install the CP at the supplied domain name.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

what about allowing the use of their own domains in the general settings -> domains ?

also, there's nothing to stop you from offering domain registration/transfer without the GoDaddy addon - I guess you'd have to manually enter the registration details on the GoDaddy site, but you can take domain registrations without the need for a registar module.

Thanks for the response. I do have that option already selected, but because I have the option to skip domain registration turned on, since we will not sell domains, the feature and field you are referring to gets skipped. How can I turn this feature back on, but not allow them to buy domain names?

if those top two checkboxes (reg/transfer) are unticked, but the 3rd (own domain) is ticked, all you should need to do is tick the "Require Domain" box in the product setup - if own domain is the only option, that's all they'll be offered during the ordering process.
