Prorate new services to next-bill-date of already active services

As the title indicates I would like to know if it is currently possible to prorate any newly added services on an active account the next-bill-date of already active services.

Ie. User currently has hosting with us that they are billed for on the 1st of each month, they call me on the 18th and ask me to add another hosting package - When this is added, I'd like it billed on the same date as their next generated invoice (the 1st of the month) so everything comes together and they're not getting 2 monthly invoices from me.

The reason for this is I have about a 50/50 split of services that are prorated vs services that aren't prorated, but I'd still like all the invoices dates to line up on each account.

With existing accounts, these have been adjusted manually, but going-forward I'd like this automated.

Hello kmg7513,

Yes this is possible by enabling Signup Anniversary Prorata under Setup -> General Settings -> Ordering and ticking enable signup anniversary prorata

With this option enabled all products will be prorated to each client’s original signup date (per the client Summary page). Meaning that all of a client’s products will renew on the same day regardless of when they order, the date will be different for each individual client. The Setup > Products/Services > Edit > Pricing tab > Prorata Billing option must still be enabled, but the Prorata Date setting will be overridden by the client’s signup date.

Domains and addons are never pro-rated, so signup anniversary prorata does not apply to them either. Domains are always billed strictly on an anniversary basis (ie. due for renewal exactly x years after being ordered).
