ModernBill refugee, looking for automatic coupons

Hello everyone,

 

We're pretty much sick and tired of modernbill and now that we've looked into WHMCS, it's amazing and the biggest key thing, it's fast, a LOT fast. Sometimes, I'm still waiting for some setting to be modified but it's already done, ModernBill 5 users know what I'm talking about.

 

Anyways, I am setting up the packages and I have a small problem, in ModernBill 5, there was something called "Automatic coupons" -- They are discounts automatically applied without the need to place a coupon and all.

 

We usually have 50% off some plan, but we would like to avoid putting a coupon and want to make the 50% visible in the order form... the best way would be if there is a way to make the discount appear automatically there (instead of simply reducing the price).

 

We'd be glad for any help on how to do this as so far this software has been perfect.

Unfortunately this isn't currently possible with WHMCS. Though you can set a coupon via the order URL. The link to a page needs to be like order.php?step=2&pid=1&promocode=TEST

I must say, I have been enjoying alot of it lately.

 

Just does everything like ModernBill, alot simpler, alot easier, alot faster.

i used modernbill 4 for a while, then late one friday night i was browsing about for a better billing system, found whmcs, and within 72 hours had stripped mb off my system and migrated over to whmcs, and havent looked back since
