Posted October 9, 2016 Share Posted October 9, 2016 well the idea has been rejected by WHMCS... https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/auto-mail-new-announcement off the top of my head, I can't think on an addon that does this... though I suspect it wouldn't be too difficult to write one... the suggestion in the request of using Mass Mail is not a bad one and would allow you to send announcements to only those it would affect. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Atomic Posted October 9, 2016 Author Share Posted October 9, 2016 Experience tells me these things have to be easy. Extra steps mean those extra steps end up not being done. So while you might start off copying Announcements to Mass Mail in the end you won't bother. I have a hook that sends Server Issue mails to clients on affected servers and the Announcement emails could serve as a type of newsletter as those announcements would be about service enhancements, special offers etc and would only be sent out once a month or every few weeks at most.
