Hello,

 

Is there a way to retry failed email messages? Was receiving SMTP error in WHMCS for a few days and now have corrected it. I would like WHMCS to retry the emails that failed during the time that this issue occurred. Is there a way to do this?

Not easily.. however if you want to resend any emails, you can do so from the Utilities > Email message log page.

This would absolutely be beneficial, however it would require WHMCS to have a more intuitive mail system. Right now, it's just using phpmailer

That's one option.. I doubt many people use that however. I use Postmark for SMTP, but have used Mandrill and Sendgrid as well.

At the core, WHMCS still uses phpmailer.

Note:

this is not the default php mail(); function, but the phpmailer class itself. If you're using mandril / sendgrid, or any SMTP, this is going to go through phpmailer
