kmm2908 Posted August 23, 2016 Share Posted August 23, 2016 WHMCS Version: 6.3.1 I had this problem about 4 years ago when I try to click on a link for an attachment in a support ticket I get redirected to: /dl.php?type=a&id=56&i=0 and shows this error message: Ticket Attachments cannot be accessed directly. Please try again using the download link provided within the ticket. If you are registered and have an account with us, you can access your tickets from our client area. Otherwise, please use the link to view the ticket which you should have received via email when the ticket was originally opened or last responded to. I have followed previous threads from 2012, checked there are no spaces in any custom files or hooks and still same problem. Anybody suggest what I can do next please to get this working? zomex Posted August 23, 2016 Share Posted August 23, 2016 Hello there, The first thing to check is your configuration.php file, I recommend following this guide: http://docs.whmcs.com/Further_Security_Steps#Secure_the_Writeable_Directories Ensure the paths are correct for your downloads directory. I can access the attachments directory which is not under /public_html/ but in sub directory from the root directory using ftp and download, so file is getting to the right place its just not allowing me to access it from the WHMCS admin area. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
