Kahl Posted June 23, 2016 Share Posted June 23, 2016 On one of my products, I have 3 tiers: the first does not include a free domain but the second two do. During the product configuration process, for a new order, a free domain is properly offered to the customer and discounted in the cart before checkout. However, if a customer has purchased the first product that did not include a free domain, and is later upgrading to either one of the two tiers that do include a free domain, it's not offered to them. I can't find any documentation or articles/threads where this is addressed. I believe the issue lies within the process, where the upgrade is generated as an invoice rather than going through the cart process. How can I offer a new free domain during an upgrade? And update the domain of the upgraded product if they choose a free domain? Hoping this won't require developing into modules/hooks. brian! Posted June 23, 2016 Share Posted June 23, 2016 Kahl, this might be worth opening a ticket with support... though they will probably suggest that you make it a feature request. I don't recall previously answering any questions about upgrading to a free domain account before, so i'm not sure that it's possible - as you say, if it's the process, then you're left either hoping that a future update/request will fix the process, or you'll have to find some way to get around it with hooks. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
