Error 500 when create a new ticket in administration

You need to find out what's causing said 500 error. Go into admin -> setup -> general settings -> other, tick 'display errors' (at the bottom), just temporarily. Then, try to submit a ticket again. You'll get output that's a bit better than 500. From there, you can figure out what's wrong

 

Make sure to turn 'display errors' back off when you're done.
