Notifications Extended for WHMCS! Send alerts to your staff and clients!

Are you still relying on emails to get to / from your clients and staff? Wouldn't it be nice if there was a better way to let your clients know that their invoice was generated, late fees were added, or something else? Wouldn't it be great to let all of your staff know easily that a ticket is overdue, or that there was a reply, or even a new order, or fraudulent order to investigate? Well, now there is.

 

With WHMCS Notifications Extended, you can notify your staff (and clients) via the following:

 

 

 

  1. SMS (via twilio)
  2. Hipchat
  3. Slack
  4. Pushover

 

If you've got suggestions on new methods, please do let me know, that's just a starting point.

 

So, now we know they CAN be alerted, but what can they be alerted for? Well, there's a number of things

 

Client alerts:

  1. Invoice generated
  2. Invoice paid
  3. Invoice refunded
  4. Ticket reply (from staff)
  5. Product suspension
  6. Late fees added
  7. Product terminated
  8. Product upgrade
  9. Product cancellation

 

Staff alerts:

  1. Fraud order (for manual investigation)
  2. New ticket opened (configurable, per department)
  3. New client reply (configurable, per department)
  4. Ticket 'nags' (5 different intervals at which to remind staff that a ticket needs reply)

 

Admin alerts:

Because there's certain things that only admins should be alerted to, right?

  1. Client deletion
  2. Domain deletion
  3. Addon deletion
  4. Service deletion
  5. Order deletion

 

Again, if there's more that you'd like to see added, just hit me up, or request it. If it's reasonable, and plausible, I'll happily see what I can do to get this added in.

Much more on the way for 1.5, the next planned feature release (somewhere Q1 2017)
