ioncube loader problem on directadmin.

Hello forum

we try to use of whmcs on directadmin.

problem is ioncube loader, according to the whmcs documentation, whmcs can run on php 5.3,5.4,5.5,5.6.

so when we use php 5.5, ioncube loader must be same varsion 5.5.

But when we use each version of ioncube loader on each version of PHP we have following error in cron jobs:

Site error: the file <b>/home/username/domains/domain.ex/public_html/path/crons/cron.php</b> requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so to be installed by the website operator. If you are the website operator please use the <a href="http://www.ioncube.com/lw/">ionCube Loader Wizard</a> to assist with installation.

it seem's whmcs just compatible with 5.3 version of ioncube loader.

what is problem?

thanks

I've experienced this issue before, it tends to mean your crons are running based on a old version of Ioncube even though your website itself may be fine and running on the correct version.

I contacted WHMCS with the same issue and they suggested switching to the GET cron option under setup > automation settings instead of the PHP option. This solved the issue for me.
