WHMCS Emails Sent with Large Blank Sections of Line Spaces

I submitted the following post, but did not see it appear in the forum. My apologies if this becomes a double post.

 

Since upgrading to WHMCS 6.3.1 from 6.2.2, all emails sent out, whether plain or rich text with css have a problem with blank line spaces. In fact, the beginning of emails are often a page of blank lines before the customer even sees any other text. Many customers just think we sent them a blank email.

 

It's not encoding or anything else because I believe it happens before it gets sent out. The WHMCS email log shows the message as already containing the blank spaces before the email is sent out.

Have you modified the CSS/header/footer markup under setup > general settings > mail?

[swopty]

I'm being told this might be a bug that will need to be fixed and deployed in some future WHMCS update.

 

I am using the default settings for CSS/Header/Footer.
