isdoo
Hi, I was getting duplicate emails sent to the clients both for receipts and reneal reminders. Whilst it was of my creating, I am reporting it as a bug as I do not think it should have happened. I had put a global request for all emails to be copied to me - however in both these templates I had also entered another address for copies of these two to be sent to. Rather than the system just cc'ing (would prefer bcc than cc btw) it created a duplicate of the email and sent this to both the client and the other email address. As a result of me just wanting a copy of these two emails being sent to our accounts department, the client gets a second copy. Thanks.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted October 30, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted October 30, 2007 Are you sure the client was getting a second copy aswell? Having the CC & BCC address would just mean the To field takes the client email, CC takes another email and BCC takes another email. Only one send command would be issued. isdoo
Yes - as the duplicate emails were sent to both the client and the second email address. Their address was the to: rather than the original email saying to: client ; cc: me & accounts
