I allow previous clients to pay by bacs and all new clients pay by PayPal. I'm now integrating a direct debit system for monthly website instalments. I just need to specify that payment method for that group and job done. I was hoping to be able to take the first payment by PayPal then all the remaining payments by direct debit but that would mean they'd need to go back on after the PayPal payment to set up direct debit and that's a lot of messing about so if I just offer direct debit and then it's done. I just don't start any work until the first payment clears. Not sure if I have to have terms and conditions for he dd too or if that's handled by the dd company.
