customizing domainchecker.php for local domains as database has been taken down.

Our registrar used to have a script located at zispa.co.zw/cgi-bin/search and we would search our domains using the default domainchecker.php file.

 

i was thinking of creating our own script that would perform the dig request on the domain and return the result.

 

Any ideas on the same for the .co.zw domains.

it looks like their site is being redesigned, so they've probably removed all the old files... might be worth waiting to see if the new site has a whois search that WHMCS can use - i'm not aware of any port 43 whois for Zimbabwe domains.
