lance
We have just tested this single sign on option on one of our servers, its quite nice where our shared clients get directed to our whmcs.... problem we have is that it also does the same for our reseller clients, so our reseller clients click on the link in cpanel and are directed into our whmcs software. Can we disable this anywhere so that only our shared clients get the icons etc in cpanel?
Sliffer21
Just go to Home »Security Center »Manage External Authentications in cPanel and disable "Status (whostmgrd)" for WHMCS cpaneld = cPanel webmaild = Webmail whostmgrd = WHM (Reseller Login)
lance
that would disable for all cpanel users........ We would like shared hosting clients to see this feature, but reseller hosting not too..... resellers wont want their customers hitting our whmcs client areas.
Sliffer21
Ok sorry for the confusion. In that case I don't believe so. I do not see any feature manager for it. I believe it would be an all or nothing kind of deal for now. This is very early release so suggest it to cPanel and I would say some improvements will be made for every new update for 54.
Damo
I haven't looked but would the resellers WHM account be able to turn that setting off? Quite a few WHM features are reseller aware and configurable.
lance
Couldn`t see anything about disabling this feature in the feature manager, but surely you cant go asking all resellers to go turn a function off.....
