Upgrade from 6.11 to 6.2 /cron/cron.php GONE

Hey all.. haved a WHMcs leased licence from my webhost on WHMcs so I an forced to use Softaclulous for upgrades.

 

This time when I upgraded, the /cron/ directory disappeared.. so not I have to /cron/cron.php run reference for a CRON job.

 

I have a backup from my 6.11 version, but wanted to start clean as my CRON jobs didn't work 100% of the the time since I upgraded to 6.0 (but I did have a /CRON/ directory with that upgrade and made the edits in the config file)

 

Where can I get just the /CRON/ directory and files for download? Since I am licensed via inMotion Web hosting I don't have access to be able to download the source files here.

Hello,

 

If you speak to your hosting provider I'm sure they will be able to provide you with the files. Or you can contact WHMCS directly for the files.

 

It may be that Softaculous automatically moves the crons directory so it's not publicly assessable. You should check the /home directory of your hosting account to see if it's been moved there.

Thanks for the quick reply. On refrain from Hosting manager is to use Softlitious..

 

Good idea with WHMcs. Will just open a Ticket.

I'm working on a new install now and the /cron/ directory still exists in V6.2

Does anyone know if the file /cron/cron.php changed with the 6.2 version? I have a backup from of the file from 6.1.1 and not sure if I should use it.
