50% Increase of Nominet's *.uk pricing in March 2016

Nominet have decided to raise the wholesale pricing of *.uk domains (.uk, .co.uk, .me.uk and org.uk) by upto 50% on 1st March 2016 - this affects Nominet members directly, but will also impact on the prices paid by resellers of those members (e.g most Registrars).

in brief, they've scrapped the 1-year pricing of £3.50, and multiple years of £2.50 - and will be charging £3.75 per year (1-10 Yrs)...

if you have customers who register/renew .uk domains for more than 1-yr (I would guess most still renew for 2 years), it might be worth considering renewing before the price increase next year.
