Guest vuzuggu
I am running WHMCS 6.1.1. Under General Settings -> Other Tick any of the fields below to make them optional at signup time: Address 1 City State/Region Postcode Phone Number I have the above 5 ticked. However, when a client is registering, if they don't enter in those fields they get a warning and cannot register until it is entered. Is this a known bug?
brian!
I just tried it on standard_cart, seems to work fine... possibly caused by your renaming of the cart template?
Guest vuzuggu
I am using standard_cart still as I work out issues with the custom cart. I have overwritten the names using a english.php override however I presume this shouldn't cause any issue.
brian!
it shouldn't, but change language in the client area to one you haven't used overrides with and see if the error still occurs...
Guest vuzuggu
Changing the language, order form and template didn't work. - - - Updated - - - Turns out it works in stock Five template but not stock Six.
brian!
Turns out it works in stock Five template but not stock Six. are you sure about this? i've just ticked all the optional boxes in our v6 dev (six/standard_cart), and at checkout, all it's asking for is email, password, security question and tos. if I do the same on your site, it's only asking for first name, last name, email, password and tos - all the other fields must be optional.
Guest vuzuggu
What browser are you using? I am still getting the error using chrome.
brian!
Firefox v41.0.2 - but I just tried your site in Chrome and Firefox and they're both reporting the same... address2, state and post code seem to be optional - the rest look as though they are required.
Guest vuzuggu
I am trying with Chrome on OSX and have the issue. It looks like Safari and Firefox work. Bit strange.
