Optional Client Fields

I am running WHMCS 6.1.1.

Under General Settings -> Other

Tick any of the fields below to make them optional at signup time:

Address 1

City

State/Region

Postcode

Phone Number

I have the above 5 ticked. However, when a client is registering, if they don't enter in those fields they get a warning and cannot register until it is entered. Is this a known bug?

I am using standard_cart still as I work out issues with the custom cart. I have overwritten the names using a english.php override however I presume this shouldn't cause any issue.

Changing the language, order form and template didn't work.

Turns out it works in stock Five template but not stock Six.

are you sure about this?

i've just ticked all the optional boxes in our v6 dev (six/standard_cart), and at checkout, all it's asking for is email, password, security question and tos.

if I do the same on your site, it's only asking for first name, last name, email, password and tos - all the other fields must be optional.
