domain pricing customisation issue

I am new to WHMCS and have been trying to configure everything by reading the given documentation. So far, I have got success in configuring everything but am facing issues while creating domain purchase offers for my clients. I am facing the following issue:

I have configured .com TLD and its base price slab pricing upto 5 years in my WHMCS. Now, I want to create an offer for my clients for this TLD like if they buy a this domain from me for 3 years, there will be different pricing for the first, second and third year and if a client want to buy this offer, by default, the domain will be booked for 3 years and the sum of first, second and third years price will be paid. Whereas, if the client is buying the domain of less than or more than three years (but not 3 years), the the default 'base price slab' pricing should be applied.

For this, I have created a client group and have activated it for this TLD and have configured pricing for first, second and third year. Now, my problem is, a). I Cannot assign this group to all the registered clients automatically. b). even though I assign this group to each client individually by going to their profile from my admin area, this group's pricing is not available to them in their client area. c). I want that this offer should be available to the normal visitors of my website (not just clients), which option is not there in my panel.

 

This is an urgent thing for me. Please help me with this issue. Please let me know the proper procedure to make offers on different TLDs make make them available for all the users of my website.

if I understand what you want to do correctly, I think you're making it far more complicated than you need to.

 

firstly, if you want to offer the same prices to both existing and new users, you shouldn't really need to use client groups - you should just need to edit the default pricing slab.

 

as an example, let's say your pricing for .com is as follows:

 

1-Yr -> $10.00

2-Yr -> $19.00

3-Yr -> $27.00

4-Yr -> $35.00

5-Yr -> $40.00

 

the important thing to remember is that in the pricing slab, you enter the total amount (as shown above) - not the price for that particular year... so, if I want a 1-Yr .com registration, i'll pay $10; if I want a .com for 4-Yrs, i'll pay $35.00 (equivalent of $8.75 per year)... these prices will apply to both new and existing customers.
