Voodoo
This is kinda funny but I suppose some people won't like it. If I try to logout of the client area I come to a page not found and it shows up as support.coldsweat-chicago.com which is not a valid domain. If I attempt to register I get to a page offering student loans, sex toys and such. Any ideas here? This is trying from the links in the header panel
bear
It's possible that either your local computer has been compromised or the server your files are hosted on has. Does anything like this happen on any other sites, not hosted on the same server?
Voodoo
no, nothing has been compromised. I have just installed WHMCS and getting it up and running. All the other parts of the site work as they always have. There are 2 other stores and the main site besides WHMCS

Voodoo
here are the urls coldsweat-chicago.com/order/register.php coldsweat-chicago.com/order/clientarea.php
bear
Since "support.coldsweat..." is being referenced, check your settings under the "general" tab of the configuration settings. Look for: "WHMCS System URL" and the SSL one below it. Are they set correctly? I don't get the odd ad filled page, however.
Voodoo
yes, both are set correct. The ad filled page changes, here is where it just took me trying to register. <<removed nasty smut link>>
bear
No matter if I click a link or enter the page URL directly it gets redirected to support... etc. and fails with a 404. Check for any strange entries in any .htaccess files in your hosting account, and try with an alternate web browser (if using IE, try FF, and so on).
Voodoo
nothing unusual in .httaccess. The only one in there is for the main site. All the main site and the 2 other stores work as they should. I had tried with IE before writing of the problem as I use FireFox.
Voodoo
I found the problem. I had put in the ssl switch in the header.tpl.I had found it on the forum here. It isn't necessary in this version I suppose as now it works as it should . Thanks for the help!!
bear
Excellent work in tracking it down. Glad it's fixed for you. Still strange about that adult redirect, however...
Voodoo
yes it is. I guess I should find that posting in here and put a note up telling of it so no one else does it
Jordan
Are you sure you didn't accidentally copy/paste that link? I know it may be embarrassing to admit to that, but it happens. We know people view that on the internet. I really don't think that your header.tpl file was compromised. Just an error that you probably didn't realize.
Voodoo
Ha, No, not quite but I did the next stupider thing... I didn't take out the "secure." portion of it as I really didn't pay attention & inserted my domain name where it said "secure.domain.com". Was late....what can I say!! Is why I didn't put that note up. I went back thru the thing & found the post. Updating too many things at one time here I suppose and not enough tavern time. Was an interesting day & night to say the least but all is running now with only a few minor details to change. This was a complete change over from WHMAP so much had to be changed on all parts of the Cold Sweat-Chicago sites
