mcpacific
I've seen the examples for creating new panels, but what about updating existing (default) ones? How would I update the color, for example?
mcpacific
It seems that there should be a way to use hooks to do this, but perhaps only to add new panels (and change things like color using custom.css). Anyone else have any thoughts at all on this?
brian!
I did take a look at this, but I couldn't find a way to do it - I can easily add and remove the panels, but not modify an existing one. it would have been simpler if WHMCS had used unencrypted external hook files to create the existing panels in the homepage - then at least we could have examined the code and modified them how we want. I haven't ruled out that it can't be done - I mean if you can modify navbars and sidebars using hooks, then it follows that panels should be the same... but the documentation is very sketchy. have you tried contacting support about this? from what i'm hearing, they're often declining to help as they consider it "customisation" - fair enough in one way, but you'd think for $100 per year, they'd either give you the answer or provide clear documentation to find the solution yourself! if you do contact support and get a response - let us know!
