Sliffer21
We would like to suggest bringing back custom service fields in the product details for the clients area. Since the 6.0.0 update it seems this nice little bit is gone. We use it for cPanel Servers IPv6 addresses as we assign them to new clients since there is currently no feature to automatically assign IPv6 addresses to new accounts on cPanel and.or bring the cPanel IPv6 address into WHMCS.
brian!
have you tried clicking on the "Additional Information" tab on the Product Details page in the client area ? that should contain the contents of any product custom fields for that product.
Sliffer21
Brian, Once I click the details of the product it will take customers to the details page with the disk and bandwidth usage along with some quick cPanel links however to additional fields are shown. I have tried using the default "six" template as well as our custom template. Thanks, Thomas
brian!
Thomas, apologies, you are absolutely correct - I was testing on a product that wasn't linked to cPanel... under those circumstances, the custom fields are shown correctly. also, if you switch to the "Five" template, the custom fields are shown. there might be a suspect {if} statement in six/clientareaproductdetails.tpl preventing this from being triggered - the custom fields are being passed and are available to the template, they just aren't being used correctly. it might be worth reporting this as a bug in the Bug Reports forum - http://forum.whmcs.com/forumdisplay.php?27-Bug-Reports - and perhaps include a link back to this thread.
Sliffer21
Thanks for double checking me on that. I have went ahead and submitted it as a bug and once I get some free time I will go through and check the template file vs five to see what is missing to cause it not show correctly.
