andy40
You will need to use the full download to update it.
rhjohnsonsc2
OK. Thank you. It has been a while since I have done an update like this. Does anyone have any pointers to help that would make it quick and easy to do?
brian!
http://docs.whmcs.com/Upgrading the best advice is to make sure that you have backups before you start and to go through the process steps at your own pace. ideally, do it on a dev installation first - but if you can't, then take care during each step... and probably be prepared to upload multiple times if something isn't working!
rhjohnsonsc2
Thank you Brian. When I uploaded all the files into my folder and went to run the process, I have a blank white screen. Does anyone know why?
brian!
usually it's an incomplete or corrupt file... but there are many possible reasons! you could try enabling error reporting... http://docs.whmcs.com/Blank_or_Partially_Rendered_Pages#If_you_are_unable_to_access_the_Admin_Area but usually the quickest solution is to just upload the files again - it often only takes one file to stop it from working.
rhjohnsonsc2
I am still getting a blank page when I add: $display_errors = E_ALL ^ E_NOTICE; or $display_errors = true; to my configuration file.

rhjohnsonsc2
I have still not successfully upgraded to the new 6.01 series of WHMCS. I usually have no issues upgrading for some reason I am having a fir with it. I keep getting a blank page and I add the code to display errors but nothing is displaying. Can anyone help? Thanks
brian!
have you opened a ticket with support about this? they might be able to take a closer look at your system - often it's just one minor thing causing it, but with no error message and unable to see your setup, it's difficult to offer specific help from the outside.
