mathewparet
All of a sudden my WHMCS installation is asking for: Welcome to WHMCS! Before you can begin using WHMCS you need to perform the installation procedure. Any idea why this would have happened. My config file exists and contents look ok to me.
PascM
Seems there might be a problem with your db have you checked that ?
mathewparet
I don't think so. I tried connecting to my db and it is working properly.
brian!
do you have a backup copy of the config file - just in case the current one has become corrupt in some way?

brian!
if you currently have a support & updates package with WHMCS, it might be worth opening a support ticket about this - they'll be able to take a closer look at the config file (which obviously no one should do here!) and perhaps investigate any other issues. if they manage to sort it, report back here with the answer - but I think it generally turns out to be a configuration issue, or a compromised installation - hopefully the former.
pacwebhosting
Hi Might also be worth running a repair on your database, take a backup of it before you do any work on it! Thanks Paul
