danning
I have found a number of issues with ID protection. When the domain is registered with ID protection enabled the price is calculated together with the domain price. The domain registration and the ID protection are not itemized / billed as different products. That's the first mistake. The second mistake is that that for the renewal it's renewed at the total price of the domain and ID protection. These should be split so that the customer knows what they are being billed for. Customer will look at the total and not realize it includes add ons like ID protection and possibly cancel thinking they can get the domain cheaper elsewhere. Third mistake is from the client side when I test as the client the ID protection doesn't show in the whmcs client, other addons are there such as DNS management but no options to even see ID protection is active. This is only visible from the Admin side of whmcs. A client can't disable or enable ID protection and can't even see it. Last mistake is from the client side if clicking a manual renewal it will only renew the domain and as mentioned above it can't even see the ID protection. This are very big issues.
