Bestrafung
This could very well be user error but I have been setting up the affiliate system and have a few minor issues. The first issue I have is that, even though I have the default value set to 5% in Setup > General Settings > Affiliates tab > Affiliate Earning Percentage, all of our recent affiliate signups are still not awarded any value and is defaulted to 0. I had to manually edit their affiliate accounts and set the percentage and calculate what their earnings should be. Am I overlooking something simple? The second issue I have is that we'd like to be able to approve or deny potential affiliates. I've looked seemingly everywhere but have not seen an option for requiring approval or even notifying staff/admins. Is this possible? Thanks for any assistance you may be able to provide.

Am I overlooking something simple? have you modified your Commission Delay setting? http://docs.whmcs.com/Affiliates#Commission_Delay We recommend a minimum Commission Delay value of 1. Typical values would be 30 or 60 days. Setting this value to 0 will cause commissions to always stay in "Pending" status and never clear. The second issue I have is that we'd like to be able to approve or deny potential affiliates. Is this possible? there is an addon that will allow you to review affiliates before activation... https://www.whmcs.com/appstore/1954/Affiliate-Review.html I don't think there is an option for notifying admins - that would probably require another action hook.
Bestrafung
Thanks for the information. The Commission Delay is set to 3. The last affiliate signup was almost 3 weeks ago. I may look into that addon. The notification isn't very important just so long as we have control over affiliates.
Alex - Arvixe
Let me know if you don't find a hook for activation. I had a script which showed certain pages to certain users, I am pretty sure it can be expanded into the affiliate system so I'll look around for that hook. For the actual commissions, have you overwritten the default earning settings with individual ones for each product? (Setup -> Product/Services -> Product/Services -> *Select Product* -> Other). Ensure 'Use Default' is selected if it isn't.
