Confused about CORE-5924 change in 5.3.12. Pls help explain to me...

I have 2 questions.

In the changelog for the latest version 5.3.12 in the "CORE-5924 (#2533) - Custom Field update on submit ticket dept change for Default template" it says:

In line 69 of old file, add id & on change trigger to deptid select.

In line 112, remove the custom field foreach loop and replace with a custom fields div.

1) I looked on line 69 of the new file and see no id or select... so what exactly does "old" mean? Just change on the old template even though the new lacks this?

2) In line 112 I do not see a foreach on the old file... am I missing something?

Hello,

The changes discussed there happened in the file: templates/default/supportticketsubmit-steptwo.tpl. What kind of upgrade did you do and what file are you looking at?

This is ultimately not a bug report, so I am moving the thread to the Technical Issues & Questions section.

Have a great day,

Nate C

Thanks for your feedback and moving it to the appropriate location.

Yes I'm looking at templates/default/supportticketsubmit-steptwo.tpl and can't find the deptid select on line 69 or the custom field foreach loop on line 112.

When I do an upgrade like this, I copy over everything except the template files. Then I manually go in and make those template changes. I've never had an issue following the instructions the past few years on these upgrades, but this one time I see a discrepancy and issue. Is there a problem, or is it on my end? Many thanks~
