I have a reseller license from the hosting company, and would like to know how to go about installing it on my local machine for testing. I tried installing it, but when I go to localhost/whmcs/install/install.php it redirects to http://www.localhost.com/whmcs/install/install.php thus failing to connect. Who tell you that you can't install WHMCS on a local server. We have been using it on our local machine to test out different things as its easy to use. When you use it locally your local path gets stored in license panel. First of all my apologies for the belated reply, pc crashed, and had to reinstall evrything, included the wamp environment (not using applications, but manually installed Apache, MySql, Php, Ioncube). The hosting company has given me the license number (leased one), but I can't get to install/install.php as it redirects me like said in op. True, But he can talk to his web host to let him use this license on a local server Will you please tell me the steps, as I don't know how/what to do.
