JackRabbit
The whois/id protection smarty elements are not displaying on the domain config page when selecting a .uk tld or any other tld that uses this option. The only element that displays next to the whois option is the webkit checkbox. It's missing the domain protection description and price. {if $domain.idprotection}<label><input type="checkbox" name="idprotection[{$num}]"{if $domain.idprotectionselected} checked{/if} /> {$LANG.domainidprotection} ({$domain.idprotectionprice})</label><br />{/if} http://www.jackrabbit.host 1. choose an available .uk domain> 2. check availability> 3. select reg period> 4. install website> 5. domain config> 6. cart Step 5's domain config is not displaying the {$LANG.domainidprotection} ({$domain.idprotectionprice}) how can I fix that? I would just leave it as is but I need this element to display in order to fix another issue.

JackRabbit
Oh I see. I did not Thank you Brian! I thought the whois opt out was the same as id protection.
brian!
Oh I see. I did not Thank you Brian! I thought the whois opt out was the same as id protection. it's similar, but Whois Opt Out is run by Nominet and is available to non-businesses only (in theory!)... and is free. http://www.nominet.org.uk/uk-domain-names/about-domain-names/domain-lookup-whois/opt-out Only domain name holders that are non-trading individuals can opt out of having their address details published on the WHOIS. In other words, if the registrant is not a business or organisation and, in the case of domain names registered to individuals, you do not use or plan to use your domain name for business, trade (such as pay per click advertising, etc.) or professional transactions, you may opt out of having your address displayed. ID Protection will be a service offered by your registrar - but remember that the service might not be available for all tlds... e.g Enom don't offer it for .uk domains, neither do OpenSRS - but some others might... which is a long-winded way of suggesting that you check with your registrar(s) to see if you can offer ID protection for .uk domains before adding it as an option in WHMCS!
