Order template url parameter carttpl not working...

This is in fact a problem as also mentioned recently by another user. Rather frustrating too. Defining carttpl in cart url does not work. As far as i can tell, doesn't even work on your demo as exampled in your docs.

When is this going to be fixed? I imagine this is a quick oversight fix.

I don't speak for WHMCS (far from it lol), but I don't expect that they will consider this to be a problem.

 

if you, as a WHMCS admin, assign a product group to use a specific template in the products settings in the admin area, I don't think that you would want a user to be able to come along and choose another template to use - perhaps bypassing any modifications you've made to your chosen template.

 

however, if the product group is assigned to use the default order-form template, as defined by...

 

setup -> general settings -> ordering -> default order-form template

 

then the template can be changed by using the carttpl in the URL.

 

if you want to see this, log into the WHMCS admin demo, change the template used by a product group to "default" and then try your example link again - it will change the template used to the one that you use in the URL link.
