jaytyn
Hi All, I trying to sell a prepaid dialup internet product via WHMCS. I basically have a list of usernames that I can enter in. I would like WHMCS to be able to email one of these to the customer when they sign up and pay for the service. Is this possible? Cheers
lostinspace
You might be able to do it with custom fields. Just don't show the fields on the order form and fill them in before you approve the order. We do something similar with voice servers.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted October 5, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted October 5, 2007 A custom field would be needed to store the username assigned to the user for the purchase - and a custom module would need to be created to do the assigning if you wanted it automated upon payment. Would mean a custom module wasn't completely necessary. Although, whatever works ...
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted October 9, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted October 9, 2007 Not really - that would mean the person receives it immediately when they order - without needing to pay. With a module, it can run only after payment has been made. Matt
