Hi all I need to store a username/password somewhere in the clients profile. I have created the custom fields. All is good. But what I need to do is display this username/password within the domain details section of the userarea. I have tried calling it with {$client_custom_fields.0} {$client_custom_fields.1} {$client_custom_fields.2} But that dosen't work in the TPL files. Any easy way to display these fields in the templates? Thanks

Hey there, Yeah already done that, IP added to TPP, tried with live and demo system. Still get the succcess message even on failure.

Hi Has anyone ever got the TPP domain api to work with WHMCS? It always comes back with 'domain registration successful' even with bogus login details in the API settings. TPP say to contact WHMCS for support with the module, and WHMCS say to contact TPP. I cannot work it out. Thanks Jay

PayMate have recently changed their website from paymate.com.au to paymate.com therefore the WHMCS module is accessing the wrong URL causing a SSL certificate error for the wrong URL. Can this be changed? PayMate don't always return a PA (payment authorised) straight away, but paymate have a nice API for checking periodically for the PA response, so maybe this can be built into the new version? Thanks

HI all, I am trying to register domains via the tppinternet domain registrar settings in the new version. I have activated my API access with TPP, and WHMCS returns successful, but nothing is recieved on the TPP end. Has anyone else had troubles with it? I cannot find any debug info, how can I debug the API? Cheers Jay

In the new version 3.5.1, how do I re-create a subscription? I have removed the old subscription number (cancelled) and it is set to monthly in the products screen, but when the customer clicks the PayPal button, it just goes to pay the invoice, and will not setup a subscription??? (I have forced subscriptions ticked in the payment gateway settings)

Thats what I would have thought, but I don't know if payMate has an IPN style URL that it returns to. Anyone else know?

Hi all, I am in the process of switching from PayPal to PayMate. and I would like to know how WHMCS handles recurring payments? If a customer chooses PayMate as the payment method, and at the Paymate payment screen, selects "Recurring" how does this notify WHMCS in order to mark the invoice as paid? I hope it does not have to be done manually. If WHMCS does not support this, I might use PayPal for recurrings, and PayMate for one-offs (messy). Cheers Jay

Just a question about the DirectI interface. I notice in WHMCS you need to setup a reseller account, and a general customer account, and put the ID's in WHMCS. Now. When a customer registers a domain, it sits under my 'customer' profile in DirectI. Therefore, the customer does not have their own username/password to edit DNS servers etc. Instead, I need to login and view all my domains to change it. Is there anyway the customer can modify their domain without me having to go in, and create a new customer, and transfer the domain?

I have solved the problem. Had to CHMOD 777 the templates_c directory!

I emptied out templates_c ... no luck. So I restored templates/* and templates_c/* from a backup and it fixed the templates. However, now the home screen on the admin login is blank! I have searched this forum, and it indicates that is a CURL problem, but Curl is installed and working fine on apache. I have deleted the homepage.tpl files from the templates_c but still the same thing... What can I do from here?

For some reason, I made a small change to my header.tpl today, and my portal and orderforms died, being blank (no source code at all). So I reverted to the saved backup copy of the header.tpl file, and it is still blank. When i delete the header.tpl file all together, it works (although no CSS styles). Why does it die when the header.tpl is there? Even using the same copy that prevoously wored?

Ok, I have gotten around the firewall issue, but now I get this: I have turned off the limits applicable under the 'Domain' templates. So I am stuck as to what else it could be?

Hi All, I trying to sell a prepaid dialup internet product via WHMCS. I basically have a list of usernames that I can enter in. I would like WHMCS to be able to email one of these to the customer when they sign up and pay for the service. Is this possible? Cheers

Same thing here. 3 paypal subscription payments came in. Two appeared in the gateway and worked, The third one did not even appear in the log... strange. I won't bother contacting paypal about it, because they will just send one of their robotic responses, and the original question never seems to sink into their thick skull.

Hi All, I have a few recurring products (Using paypal subscriptions) and a couple of once off products. I don't want to give the customers the choice of subscriptions / invoices. I want everyone to use subscriptions, but allow PayPal invoices for the one off products only. Is there anyway I can set this? At the moment, I am using Paypal subscriptions ONLY. and the checkout works OK for the one off products. But the paypal module fails in WHMCS, as it is expecting a subscription, but sees a once of payment. Hence, it does not create the invoice. Thanks

Thanks for the replies. So, When Paypal sends the subsciption cancellation info to the IPN, WHMCS does not automatically set the PayPal sub to cancelled in WHMCS? Cheers Jay

Hi All, Let me start by saying I have just changed from ClientExec to WHMCS, and I am amazed by how good this product is!! It has so many more features than CE! One thing that I am stuck on, is that when a customer cancels their PayPal subscription, how does the customer re-activate the subscription via WHMCS ? Pls help! Cheers Jay
