mail nameserver failed/recovered and now have 98% SPU in cron.php?

Hi,

 

My whmcs cron.php seems to be using 98% CPU and it's causing my site to crawl.

 

This all seemed to happen around same time as the mail nameserver failed/recovered according to email I got from cPanel.

 

Can anybody shed any light or give advice?
