Nginx Server - Auto provisioning with WHMCS

I am basically new to Nginx and looking to add some Ningx servers in the coming months.

 

But my basic questions is...

1) If you have Nginx servers, how are you using Nginx? Is it for general hosting or specific to software like WordPress etc.

 

2) Is there any WHMCS Server module support for a Nginx server for auto provision hosting?

Or maybe provisioning WordPress or any other type web based software/scripts?

 

I still have a lot to learn in this new area. Thanks for feed back on this.

I think you dont understand what Ngnix is, its not a blog like wordpress or joomla where you can autoinstall it .

 

You can not install ngnix in one hosting, you can do it in a vps.

 

for autoprovision for wordpress there a several plugins for autoprovision

Hi, thanks replying, actually I know exactly what Nginx is its a web server just like apache, but is many times more effect than apache. WordPress, Joomla and all the others are applications run on an apache server or Nginx or some other server type.

 

It seems you miss under stood my question. When one sets up servers within WHMCS you go to Setup > Product /Services > Servers. normally you have choices like WHM/cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, InterWorx (and the list goes on) etc when selecting the server.

 

So back to my original question what are the servers used to provision hosting on those that have Nginx set up and using WHMCS to provision on those Nginx servers.

1) Yes i use it to host my personal sites manually(no provisioning addon)

2) Nginx has no api so theres only 2 options to autoprovision nginx hosts: a) Cpanel with the nginx plugin enabled and use the whmcs cpanel addon, b) Develope a custom server provisioning addon to manage nginx vhosts using ssh and command lines.
