impactgc
Is it possible to import from another whmcs? I may be acquiring another company which uses whmcs. Anyone know?> Thanks, Adam
Cody Salter
You should be able to just import the database using phpmyadmin or something, just export with struction and choose insert, not replace.

Cody Salter
Yes, but you don't overwrite the data in the new database, just add on to it, like 2 bags of marbles, pour one bag into the other.
impactgc
OK -- what about the ID associated to the record are already being used. IT isn't that easy
isdoo
I was going to ask exactly this. Our long term plan is to split WHMCS into a second company running alongside. Therefore it would be very nice to have some sort of export/import into WHMCS where we can select certain or all accounts. Thanks.
webresellers
You would have to check that database schema, but that field might be set to auto increment. If so, there shouldn't be any problems.... You might want to double check with Matt to make sure there isn't anything else that hasn't been though of yet.
brianoz
I'm sure this is possible, it's just going to need some programming. You may be able to contract WHMCS themselves to do it for you, or someone else, submit a support ticket to WHMCS and see what they say.
impactgc
I have submitted a ticket awhile back(Sept 27th)-- and as of then you will need to do this manually. But hey maybe they will have a different answer Adam
