chisel
I have a customer that bought a domain off me a year ago which is in WHMCS. He has decided not to renew the registration. I have set the domain to Expired, as it is no longer valid. But what is best practice with regard to no longer used domains? Should I just delete the domain from the client area? or just leave it as expired. If I delete it, will it have any effect on past invoices, internal calculations or reporting? Cheers.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted September 27, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted September 27, 2007 Deleting it won't cause problems but most would normally keep it as a history. Just setting the domain to expired shows it's no longer in use. Matt
Si
Just on that Matt: If a domain expires, ie, the invoice isn't paid to renew it, does the system set the domain to 'Expired' Automatically, or is this something that we have to do manually?
