'Login to control panel' button going to wrong URL

Hello all,

For some reason when I click the Login to Control Panel' button within the Service it takes me to the portal url with a default.aspx and not the WebsitePanel Control Panel. So in essance the URL somewhere is wrong...no idea where to change it!

I see when I go within WHMCS to the client's profile and do it within admin whmcs then it's fine the Login to Control Panel option has the right path but when in the Client Area it gives the wrong one. Very strange.

I had mine like this already.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

When you say "I had mine like this already"...do you mean:

For anyone who has this in the future, to configure a different URL, go to the Product, then under Module Settings place a tick in 'Different Portal URL' and enter the URL opposite (include the port if needed). Save it and it's done.

No thats not the issue. I can create accounts and everything else works. The only thing that doesn't work is the option where a client goes into the client area and clicks the Login Button which automatically should log them in.

Should take them to a url like http://cp01.servername/default.aspx?username=""&password="" but it takes them to http://whmcsurl/default.aspx?username-""&password=""

The weird thing is within whmcs admin section if you go to products and services of that same client for the plan there is a autologin link there aswell which is you click takes you in correctly and to the correct url.

Maybe I just need to try a different version of websitepanel whmcs module.

Don't think it will be the module...unless you haven't got the one directly from WSP site? We use the module from them otherwise we get creation issues.

I have just double-checked out setup and if I change the 'Portal URL' under the Module Settings for the product that has a direct impact on the URL shown as the link within the client area. Try going to the module and in the URL just change it to something different....then Save and login as the client to check if it does change.
