$1 Coupon Code That Makes an Order Total $1

Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place, My company just launched web services and we are using a whmcs/whm/cpanel type setup, and my question is, we would like to create a coupon code for new customers that brings their order total to $1 rather than a percent off the order total. Since it is going to be used on different items with varying prices, a percent won't do exactly what we are looking for. Does anyone have any ideas how this could be done? I'm stumped because what I am trying only takes $1 off the order total.

have you tried using the Price Override option?

that should allow you to set a fixed price, $1, for any of the items the promo code applies to.
