rodolphe
Hi there, We still have some clients who insist on paying by cheque. I want to create an incentive to that online payments (Bacs or whatever) are discounted against cheque payments. Alternatively we can make cheque payments more expensive against product list price, I don't care. Is there any way at all to do that? Thanks in advance!
brian!
we still have one or two that pay be cheque, but thankfully most of those that were are now using BACS! on our pdf invoices to clients who have previously selected paying by cheque, we list the BACS option as a quicker method of payment and display that before the cheque payment method details... there are a couple of addon gateway modules available - though check that they work with the latest WHMCS before buying! http://www.whmcs.com/appstore/1626/Set-Gateway-Transaction-Fee.html http://www.modulesgarden.com/products/whmcs/payment_gateway_charges/features there is also a rewards points addon - don't know if you can use this based on payment method, but if it does, it would be one way to give an incentive - check with the author on that... http://www.studio4web.com/whmcs-addon-moduli/reward-points/ the only in-built solution (hence free!) I can think of off-hand would be to use a promotion discount code for those cheque payers that switch to using BACS... i.e 5% one-time discount off their next renewal invoice... the promo code could be added to the clients product profile and when the renewal invoice is generated, it should deduct x% off the invoice.
