websys
Hello, until recently any buyer would have the option to pay via Paypal with his/her credit card without having a Paypal account. I am not sure if something changed in the "paypal" gateway but now when the buyer is transferred to Paypal he/she don't have that option anymore. Is there something that I am missing or what? Kind regards, Manos K
myautodj
If the buyer uses the "check out" option on the invoice then they do not need a Paypal account, however if they choose subscription" then they must have a PayPal account
websys
Thanks for the reply... I only get a Paypal checkout button, not a subscription button. But still the resulting page in Paypal won't show the option to pay without a paypal account.
Voqnum
You can also explore into using various other Gateways for payment that can process credit-cards. Just read up reviews on some of the better credit card accepting modules that are partnered with WHMCS.
Damo
We don't use PayPal but looking at the docs you may need to check the configuration of the product in WHMCS. http://docs.whmcs.com/PayPal#Force_Subscriptions From what I can tell if the product is defined as a subscription payment they'll be required to use a PayPal account. My first thought is to look at how the product and the payment gateway is configured.
