Deleting Products From WHMCS

When I try to remove a product from WHMCS' list of products, WHMCS complains...

 

You cannot delete a product that is in use. To delete the product, you need to first re-assign or remove the products using it.

How can I "re-assign or remove the products using it"?

As far as I know, the only way to remove the product is to find all the clients who have that product in their account and then remove the product from their account.

 

You can then delete the product.

Does anybody know of an easier way to do this? It just seams ridiculous to have to do it this way

 

I have many product's that have not discontinued years again and no active services on them. Surely having to go into each client manually and having to delete product can not be the only way?
