No Slider Option in Configurable Options

I'm using v5.3.5 and as seen below there is no slider option under configurable options.

There should be slider option, it is also mentioned in help docs; http://docs.whmcs.com/Addons_and_Configurable_Options

never assume the documentation is accurate!

as whmcs has been updated over the last year, the documentation has not kept up - so there are errors in there. (there were a few when I first joined the forum last year!)

but to get to your point about slider, if you select quantity from the dropdown and use either modern or slider order form templates for that product group (or generally), then the slider should be visible in the order form.

Hi,

In this case the documentation is quite accurate i must say:

The slider provides a graphical method for clients to specify a quantity. As above choose the Quantity option type, a minimum and maximum quantity must be supplied and used in conjunction with the Slider or Modern order form templates.

Hi,

it's accurate up to a point - you could read the contents as implying there should be five options in the dropdown on the config options page... which I assumed was the issue the OP was getting at.

also, you can use the slider with the comparison order form template - which the docs make no mention of... I don't know when that change was brought in, but I don't think it was recent.
