Sounds very good.

WGS, I want this module:

EMAIL: support AT server-1.com

... part BELOW edited a few hours after my post ....

And I have two questions:

(1) AFTER seeing your ad/info above, about your module, I found that WHMCS has its own module for "PayPal Pro Reference Payments" ... I have not seen that one in action nor your's. So, please be patient. But can you explain what the difference is between your module and the one that already seems to come with WHMCS? ... this one:

http://docs.whmcs.com/PayPal_Website_Payments_Pro#Reference_Payments

Thanks.

(2) Is there a way to install your module TWICE within the same WHMCS. The reason for this: we try to replace our existing old 2CheckOut accounts for British Pounds and EURO with PayPal ... using your module. But that means we need to send our British Pound-paying and our Euro-paying customers to two different links, as they pay in two different currencies.

Thanks.

John

Hi

(1) AFTER seeing your ad/info above, about your module, I found that WHMCS has its own module for "PayPal Pro Reference Payments" ... I have not seen that one in action nor your's. So, please be patient. But can you explain what the difference is between your module and the one that already seems to come with WHMCS? ... this one:

http://docs.whmcs.com/PayPal_Website...rence_Payments

--> There are several features that differentiates the default WHMCS module with ours.

1) It also supports recurring billing. so client is charged automatically for the subscriptions.

2) Client is redirected to the paypal to make the payment. so client can pay through his paypal account as well as Credit Card.

3) Our module works on "Billing Aggrement ID" send by paypal. so once client accepts the billing agreement on paypal they can be charged next time with out redirecting to the paypal.

4) Client is not asked for the CC details on the website. This makes them feel more secure

5) Charge client manually : Admin can manually charge client.

You do not need to install it twice, but we can customize the module to suit your requirements.

Let me know if you want more clarifications.

Thanks

Dear WGS:

Thank you for your time and explanations:

Please let me ask a little more in order to clarify ... should also be for the benefit of others reading this tread, I think:

In the meantime I read elsewhere that the WHMCS module mentioed above, the one that already comes with WGMCS ("PayPal Pro Reference Payments") also allows billing to be initiated by the merchant -- BUT only using credit cards. If I understand that right, if a PayPal customer has a credit card associated with his PayPal account, then that is being charged. (I am NOT 100% sure I did understand that right.) YOUR module, however, allows us to charge a PayPal account (given our own receiving PayPal account is enabled for "Reference Transactions") in general, not just limited to credit cards.

I further read elsewhere, or was it on your page, that this agreement that a customer signs, is only valid for one year. That means if he orders a domain registration he would next year not be billed automatically ... that's fine, I am just summarizing.

QUESTION: Your module will then *replace* the existing standard PayPal module??

If so, then my question (2) in the last posting might be unnecessary? Then the customer can (as the case now with our setup) just be directed to the correct CURRENCY (USD, Euro, or Pound, in our case) the same way he gets directed to the standard PayPal module. Is that correct?

One more DETAIL question:

An existing customer with hosting plan or dedicated server and several domains: say we install your mdule, and say that customer has presently monthly PayPal subscriptions set up, and say he now orders an additional new domain registration, and is thus signing that new billing agreement (that allows us to charge his PayPal account from our end) .... now, our cron job to charge the daily due invoices runs at 0:30 AM every day .... but PayPal subscriptions come in during later hours. WHAT happens now. Is he now first charged via our cron job, and his existing subscriptions then again take care of creating another (double) payment? IF SO, then that would mean we'd to cancel all subscriptions?

Best,

John

Dear,

Please see my reply in caps. Let me know if you need any further clarification.

1. if a PayPal customer has a credit card associated with his PayPal account, then that is being charged. (I am NOT 100% sure I did understand that right.) YOUR module, however, allows us to charge a PayPal account (given our own receiving PayPal account is enabled for "Reference Transactions") in general, not just limited to credit cards

-------> MODULE IS NOT LIMITED TO CREDIT CARD ONLY. IT WILL CHARGE USER'S PAYPAL ACCOUNT , NO MATTER IT ATTACHED WITH CREDIT , DEBIT OR ANY PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNT.

2. I further read elsewhere, or was it on your page, that this agreement that a customer signs, is only valid for one year. That means if he orders a domain registration he would next year not be billed automatically

------> NOPE, THIS MODULE WILL KEEP CHARGING TILL EITHER USER NOT CANCELLED THAT AGREEMENTID FROM HIS PAYPAL END OR ADMIN NOT DELETED THAT FROM WHMCS ADMIN AREA.

3. customer can (as the case now with our setup) just be directed to the correct CURRENCY (USD, Euro, or Pound, in our case) the same way he gets directed to the standard PayPal module. Is that correct?

------YES THAT IS CORRECT. USER CAN SELECT HIS CURRENCY FROM WHMCS CLIENT AREA AND WITH SAME HE/SHE WILL REDIRECTED TO PAYPAL.

--------->WHMCS CHARGE ACCORDING TO SERVICES. I MEAN SUPPOSE USER HAVE 10 SERVICES THAT ARE ALREADY USING WHMCS DEFAULT PAYPAL. AFTER THAT USER PURCHASE 1 MORE SERVICE USING OUR MODULE INSTEAD OF DEFAULT ONE. IN SUCH CASE WHMCS WILL USE OUR MODULE JUST FOR INVOICES RELATED TO ONLY SERVICE THAT USER PURCHASE WITH OUT PAYMENT GATEWAY. AND FOR REST 10 WHMCS WILL KEEP USING DEFAULT PAYPAL.

5. Is there a way to install your module TWICE within the same WHMCS.

--------> I DON'T THINK THERE IS ANY NEED TO TO INSTALL THIS MODULE TWICE JUST FOR CURRENCY AS WHMCS WILL AUTOMATICALLY HANDLE ALL CURRENCY ISSUES IT-SELF. AND OUR MODULE WILL ONLY USE CURRENCY THAT WHMCS WILL PASS TO IT.

Thanks

Dear WGS:

Many thanks for the many clear explanations.

One last question:

In order for this to work at all, is a business PayPal account with "Reference Transactions" enabled enough -- OR does does that PayPal account need to be a "PayPal Pro" account (for which PayPal charges an additional $30 monthly fee)?

Thanks.

John

W a r n i n g !

My colleague did get this module working, after several emails back and forth with the Support of WGS.

The two nights before we noticed that EACH night (afternoon for us) the entire night (Indian time) their website was down.

We thought that, if at least the module works, then it works as long as it works, no matter THEIR website. But no, obviously not so. Their website just went down again (possibly hosted on some private PC?), and with their website OUR module went down as well. Beautiful! Interesting sense of humor. The license they issue becomes "invalid" when their side goes down (see attached image).

I see an alternative module here -- but am not 100% sure this is or is not by the same company:

KINDLY SEND US A REFUND, WGS.

Regards,

John

The module listed above is NOT by the same company as us. We offer professional support, we're a hosting company as well, and we developed this module to meet our own needs and want to share it with all you other WHMCS users. We're constantly updating our module with more features, and the last thing we do is let our site go down :)

Again, our module is here, and we'd be happy to offer a refugee discount for anyone burned by another module!

Hi Basic,

I have sent you an email about your concern and for others clarifications I m posting it here as well.

1) We were using Godaddy VPS server (not private PC as u think) as our hosting. Since on that server our other development work were going on during the night shift causing server to crash and thus our all website went down.

2) We are now using separate hostgator VPS server for WHMCS Global Services and you can check for next 15 days if our website goes down or modules license becomes invalid we will refund your amount.

3) Every single line of this module is written by us.

Thanks

WGS

Dear WGS:

Please send us a refund. A license that goes off-line immediately if your server goes off-line, and it did, an hour or two after we installed the module .... that is not tolerable, under no circumstances. If you have no stable business setup, then maybe you should have offered this for free and without any guarantees (and we would then not have installed it). In this case, we paid for a product that was disabled almost immediately after install. PLEASE SEND US A REFUND.

Regards,

John
