pat_ads
Hi there! We sell a subscription software service (not hosting) and I have an issue. We offer a "Trial" version product, which can be upgraded to a full version. We do it this way so we don't force customers to provide a credit card for a trial. On the full version, I have an addon which I would like offered at the time of upgrade. Right now the addon is only offered on a straight purchase of the item, and not on an upgrade. How can I achieve this? Thanks

brian!
would it be possible to have two upgrade options ? they'd probably have to be entered as different products... upgrade option 1 - full version upgrade option 2 - full version + addon
pat_ads
I don't know. Our software looks for the existence of the addon to enable certain features, and that existence is provided by means of a hook return of a status from the licensing addon. Are you suggesting I create another product with the addon "forced"? Is this possible?
pat_ads
Moving this over to http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?84566-Upgrade-to-product-with-configurable-options-no-option-choice&p=358766#post358766 as I decided to change from an addon to a configurable option.
