coghost
In several areas of my admin the date shows as day/month/year. I live in the US and we read the date as month/day/year and because of the way it is working it is messing me up and causing me to think (not always a good idea;). Is there a way to change this, a parameter or a hack or??? Note: I am talking about things such as viewing invoices and other admin related things. I am able to setup how this works for my clients but I have not found anywhere that I can set this up for how "I" work in the admin area. brian!
in setup -> general settings -> localisation there are two date settings - the top one is how you see dates in Admin... it sounds like you might have this set to DD/MM/YYYY... the second setting relates to how the clients see the dates - I would imagine you have this set to "Same As Admin". if the admin side isn't set to DD/MM/YYYY, where in admin are you seeing the dates as DD/MM/YYYY ? one option might be to set the admin date format to MM/DD/YYYY, and then use a longer date for the client (1st Jan 2000). coghost
Thanks Brian, indeed I missed that. Probably because it was to easy to find... Sounds like the feature to allow clients to change this is a great idea...
