Domain ID protection addon

i'm not sure I follow your point, but if your registrar supports it, if the tld supports it and you enable the option, you can add ID Protection to a domain in WHMCS.

yes there is.

 

go to My Domains -> select a domain and press "Manage Domain"

 

if ID Protection is enabled for the tld, there should be an addons tab there and in there you will have the option to add IDP to the domain.

I believe I know what your looking for and found a similar problem in that WHMCS only enables the ID Protection if its actually purchased during signup. After the domain is registered, even if the customer makes payment it doesn't properly purchase the service.

 

I have developed a server module (aka acts like a product) which handles purchasing ID Protection & Business Listing services offered by eNom. This was built for a customer who decided to cancel half way through development. I could make this available to the public (may have to charge a small fee).

 

For now the service handles Registration & Renewals - however the domain must be registered first. Placing an order for ID Protection & registering the domain name causes the activation to fail. I'm looking at how to stall the activation request until after the domain is purchased.

 

Let me know what other features are required (enable/disable whois privacy? etc.) and I can see about launching the service.
