Kian Posted November 1, 2013 Share Posted November 1, 2013 ID Protection for domains, aka Private Whois, Whois Privacy or ID-Shield, is an option that you can enable if you want to hide your identity from whois databases. This option is not available for all extension and it doesn't work in the same way. For example with .it domain you can only hide street, city, telephone number but not your name.
