DougReid
Hi I did an installation of whmcs on my windows server. Everything worked fine and then I did the first step after installation, which is to delete the install folder I also renamed the admin folder and updated the configuration.php file as directed. My problem is that now, every time i go to the main url for my site, I get the install Welcome screen that says "Welcome to WHMCS! Before you can begin using WHMCS you need to perform the installation procedure." I am clueless at the moment and your help will be greatly appreciated. TIA Doug

brian!
ok mate no problem at all i just want help me that's it. I appreciate that, but publishing a configuration file in any public place is never a good idea - if only on the basis of security... not everyone out there would use it with the best of intentions. he's better off contacting support directly about this - he's paid for support, so he might as well make use of it. personally, I wouldn't share config or admin details with anyone outside WHMCS, certainly other forum members unless I knew them - in fact, i'd be reluctant to share them with WHMCS unless it was absolutely necessary.

brian!
have you contacted support directly about this? they're the best people to advise you in a situation like this. after you updated configuration.php, did you log into the whmcs web site and reissue your whmcs license ?
