groovygrovesy
Hi, I want to be able to give my customers the choice of a free subdomain when they order a hosting package but with the option to choose from several TLD's; i.e username.mysite.com - mysite would be the TLD for my site and these subdomains work perfectly username.mysite.net - Does not work username.a-site.co.uk - Does not work I have set it all up in WHMCS and if I place a dummy order everything is created fine without any errors but if I navigate to the site (for example username.a-site.co.uk) I get an error page. The domain name of my hosting site is registered with my hosting provider (I have a reseller account) and the 2 other domains are registered elsewhere. How can I get the mysite.net subdomain to work? Does the other domains have to be moved over to my hosting provider? One of the domains I tried has got an option in its control panel to buy subdomains so I assume that is the reason for that one not working. Kind Regards Adam
zomex
Hello Adam, Have you registered all 3 domains and are the nameservers on each of the domains pointing to the server that the free accounts are created on?
groovygrovesy
Hi Zomex The domains are registered but I had permanently forwarded them to my main domain, would changing the nameservers fix this then?

groovygrovesy
ok cool thanks I changed them before my first reply to you so just waiting for things to resolve properly. On a separate note the subdomains from my main TLD has now stopped working lol Thanks again and I'll post back with the results
groovygrovesy
Sorry Jakc it didn't work. Looks like I'm going to have to transfer the domains over to my hosting provider.
