Rob K
Hi I would like to use the USD $ instead of £ so I don't need to keep updating my prices as the exchange rate changes. How do I set the default currency. Thanks
brian!
http://docs.whmcs.com/Currencies you can have multiple currencies, and even have them update with a cron job to keep in line with exchange rates.
Rob K
Thanks but I don't think I explained my requirement properly. I want to use $ pricing for my domains as I buy from a USA provider but I want to bill my clients in £. I need to be able to set a fixed $ price for a domain and then each night when the cron job runs and it updates the £ price to reflect exchange rate changes.
brian!
in that instance, I think you'll have to set all prices using dollars (domains, hosting and everything else)... making dollars you default currency, with sterling as another option. isn't just a case of working out the price you want to charge now for a domain in dollars, entering those figures into the pricing slabs and setting the base conversion rate... then when it auto updates, the price is dollars remains the same, but the sterling price will fluctuate. you can set currency for a client in their profile, so you can either change everyone to GBP (probably be able to do that by phpmyadmin if you have too many to do manually), and/or you could add currencies to your links (might not work with domains, but would with hosting).
